DAMAGE IN GAS TURBINE
This loss refers to damage in a gas turbine during its normal operation. The turbine produces electricity to operate the different equipment of a Plant. There was a shutdown of the turbine, probably due to lubrication failure. When trying to restart, an abnormal noise was heard inside, so it was turned off and dismantled for inspection.
